Water changes everything.

Can you imagine having to walk 3-5 miles each day to collect water for your family? Over one billion women and girls around the world do this every day, sometimes multiple times a day. ⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣
We turn on a faucet, flush a toilet, take a shower, and often never think about the precious resource that is automatically brought into our homes…but to this staggering number of people worldwide, that water is carried — often literally in pots on their heads — at great cost of effort, time, and safety.⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣
We are thrilled to announce that our charity partner for this event is Water1st International!
⁣⁣⁣⁣
Simply put, Water1st supports piped water systems. They help implement permanent clean water projects in Ethiopia, Honduras, Bangladesh, and Mozambique. Because when every household has a kitchen, tap, a toilet, and a shower, children are healthier, girls can attend school, and families prosper.⁣⁣⁣⁣

Water changes everything.⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣
Come back tomorrow at 2pm ET for the unveiling of our second virtual event of 2020, and find out how we’re going to change the world…one mile, one water project, and one community at a time!⁣⁣⁣⁣
