“He ran faster than he had ever moved in his life, and it was he who saw the great tree first…”

Potterhead Running Club is pleased to present the third event of the 2020 season: Shrieking 6k!

“Trees are poems that the Earth writes upon the sky.” ― Khalil Gibran

With the brilliant co-sponsor partnership of our friends at atlasGO, we’re thrilled to tell the world that our newest charity partner is One Tree Planted!

One Tree Planted is dedicated to making it easier for individuals and businesses to give back to the environment, create a healthier climate, protect biodiversity and help reforestation efforts around the world. All by planting trees!

Our support of One Tree Planted will specifically benefit the Orca Project to plant trees along rivers and streams in the Pacific Northwest to restore habitats for the endangered orca. Our WILLOW trees will help reduce pollution and improve the health and quantity of salmon…the main food source for the orca!

“You’ve got loads of magic. I saw that. All the time I was watching you…”

Commemorate your participation in the Shrieking 6k with the official event shirt! Available in multiple fabrics and styles from tees, to tanks, to hoodies, proceeds will also support One Tree Planted!

Stay in. Work out. That’s the benefit of virtual fitness.

Remember that this is a ‘virtual’ active event, so you can complete your six kilometer distance however, wherever and whenever you want! How? You can walk, run, skip, dance, or saunter. Where? You can do it around your neighborhood, on the treadmill, or on your favorite trail. When? You can do it on a Monday night, a Thursday morning, or a Saturday afternoon. It’s all up to you!

For some extra fun, the optional ‘run day’ for the event is April 22: Earth Day! If you want to join thousands of others around the world completing some or all of the distance on that day, you’ll be in some magical company!

Registration closes at midnight on May 10. Medals will ship out the following week.
