“Anything off the trolley, dears?”
Potterhead Running Club is pleased to present the ‘sweet’ second event of the 2021 season: Chocolate Jog 7k!
Your registration includes this beautiful 3-inch medal featuring ‘the frog who got away’! As with every PHRC medal, all registrants also receive the beautiful custom sublimated ribbon, and the always-popular personalized digital bib!
“Fascinating. And is that considered a dangerous profession?”
Our charity partner for the next PHRC event is Dentaid!
With so many sweets in the magical world, we are surprised that there aren’t any known spells to help people’s teeth! When Harry treated Ron to “the lot” from the sweets trolley, we (many of us parents) immediately worried about cavities! Hermione’s parents were dentists…maybe she invented some dentistry spells later on? In the muggle world, we have the magic of dentists! Dentaid is a charity that works tirelessly to increase access to safe, sustainable, free dental care. Believing that everyone should be able to receive dental care and oral health advice, Dentaid is improving the world’s oral health – one smile at a time.
The PHRC is going to support Dentaid in their efforts to bring quality dental care to individuals across the UK and beyond, from their on-site clinics to their mobile dental fleet!
“They not really frogs, are they?”
Many young witches and wizards were in it for the collector’s cards, but to Harry, the fascination with an actual moving sweet was too great to overlook. We as fans shared in his wide-eyed wonder, and can celebrate it and relive the magic with the official Chocolate Jog event shirt!
Available in multiple fabrics and styles from tees, to tanks, to hoodies, shirt proceeds will also support Dentaid!
“Ah, that’s rotten luck; they’ve only got one good jump in ’em to begin with.”
Remember that this is a ‘virtual’ active event, so you can complete your seven kilometer distance however, wherever and whenever you want! How? You can walk, run, skip, dance, or hop (obviously). Where? You can do it around your neighborhood, on the treadmill, or on your favorite trail. When? You can do it on a Monday night, a Thursday morning, or a Saturday afternoon. It’s all up to you!
For some extra fun, the optional ‘run day’ for the event is Saturday, March 6: Potterhead Running Club’s seventh anniversary! If you want to join thousands of others around the world completing some or all of the distance on that day, you’ll be in some magical company!
Registration closes at midnight on March 21. Medals will ship out the following week.
