WE RUN AS ONE.
As part of the Fanthropy Running Programs, the PHRC is an online fandom community dedicated to positive personal health while supporting charities through virtual running events. Participants complete the event distance however, whenever, wherever they choose, and receive a magically-themed medal. Proceeds from each series go to support a unique and wonderful charity partner!
WHAT'S A VIRTUAL RUN?
A virtual run is an event that can be run in any location, at any time, at any pace. You can walk, jog, or run; use the treadmill, hit the road, sidewalk, or trail; you can even participate day or night or even in another "real-world" fitness event. It’s completely up to you!

REGISTER ONLINE
Each event has a defined distance, and open registration to anyone, anywhere in the world.
You register for the event with a $27 donation, and proceeds from all registrations will go to the event's charity partner!

2. GET ACTIVE
You’re invited to do the event’s distance in any way you choose, whenever and wherever you choose. Run on a treadmill! Hike in the woods! Walk your campus or workplace hallways! It's really “your race, your pace, your place”.
You don’t have to report back to us to prove you’ve completed it, or use any tracking apps to monitor distance unless you choose to. This is all about you!

3. EARN BLING
About two weeks after the event registration ends you’ll be shipped an incredible, uniquely designed geeky-themed medal!
Medals are shipped on the “honor system”: if you don’t have the opportunity to complete your distance by the time the medal arrives, that’s okay! You can do the distance how, when, and where you choose, and then show off that medal proudly!

OUR COMMUNITY
Throughout the castle, runners from all houses have had experiences with the PHRC that have improved their lives, and the lives those around them.
Today I got on the treadmill and struggled so, so hard, but I summoned my 'snek' reserves and "one more, one more"-d myself all the way to 10 miles in just under 2 hours. I totes cried in my car in the parking lot afterward because I finally made it to double digits. Y'all give me strength when I have no gas left, and I am inspired daily by my amazing dungeon-mates.
Every single mile I earn these days is all for charity, specifically for PHRC. These groups are what keep me going. They're some of the best supporters I've ever had. They hold me up when I'm down, they make me laugh when I'm sad, and they push me to be a better person every day.
I wanted to thank this community for being so supportive...for being a friend in dark times. I feel that support more today, as I place my new medal along with my few others. Thank you so much for all you do for others and this community too. It's the motivation I need to keep moving in my journey.
I ended up completing 49 miles in less than a week. In a normal week, I would've completed 18 in the same time frame. My body hurts and my friends think I'm crazy, but there's nowhere else I'd rather be than flying with you lot. We pushed ourselves to the breaking point while supporting a fantastic charity!
Each and every one of you, from the Amy’s to the Zoe’s, from Claws to Puffs, should consider yourselves friends to people around the world, support to people you don’t know, and genuinely good people. You should be proud of yourselves. Not only are you supporting amazing charities, but you’re supporting other people. And that is genuine kindness.
If there is one thing I know, it is the power of this Den. We support, encourage, love and understand one another in a way not many can. People may like running. People may like Harry. But to have a group that places top value on both movement and fandom, is pretty darn special. To have a little corner of the Castle we can call Home and allow ourselves to just BE is dang magical.
