We run as one.
As part of the Fanthropy Running Programs, the PHRC is an online community dedicated to positive personal health, while supporting charities focused on veterans, youth, literacy, animals, homelessness, the environment and fighting diseases through virtual running events. You complete the event distance however, whenever, wherever you choose. We ship you the magical runner’s medal, and proceeds from each series go to support a unique and wonderful charity partner!
We solemnly swear that we are up to #somuchgood
Potterhead Running Club is pleased to present our third event of 2019: 💫 The Pensieve 10k! 💫 For this event, we’re diving into the mysterious magical object used by Hogwarts headmasters (and Harry, of course) to examine and re-live memories. Legend has it that the founders of Hogwarts found the Pensieve half buried in the ground, and supposedly one of the reasons the school was located in such a remote location. In the dark days leading up to the Second Wizarding War, […]
Potterhead Running Club is pleased to present our second event of 2019: The Slug Club Armchair to 5k! Professor Horace Slughorn is a wonderfully complex character and proof that while a Slytherin might desire power and influence, they can also be chivalrous and selfless. Despite the fact that he was born in a pure-blood family (one of the so-called “Sacred Twenty Eight”), he wasn’t prejudiced against half-bloods and muggle-borns and frequently “collected” those students into his “Slug Club” if they […]
Potterhead Running Club is pleased to present our first event of 2019: 💜The Stage 5k Clinger!💜 Take yourself back to January of 2017… In an effort to provide everyone a schedule of events for the year, a “fake” schedule was published with six absolutely-not-real event names. But one of those fake events developed an unexpected and passionate following in the Castle. The students have spoken… You asked for it. You begged for it. You threatened to burn the […]
Over the last three years, the Witches and Wizards of Potterhead Running Club have come together to donate scarves, socks, coffee, animal shelter supplies, humanitarian aid items, and, of course, a whole lotta bandages! It’s time to make some magic again! There is no specific charity beneficiary for this Direct Impact Project (DIP) like we had for bandages (Noah’s Bandage Project) or humanitarian aid (Carry the Future). This DIP is all about showing strangers kindness with a simple, but incredibly […]
